Legal Affairs Specialist

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience is required as a legal affairs specialist.
  • English speaker preferred.
  • Highly proficient in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in contract management.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Provide prompt and concise legal opinion to all internal stakeholders on legal inquiries after due investigation with relevant parties.
  • Conduct in-depth legal analysis, draft advices on different legal issues and provide specific solutions
  • Driven support to all the departments.
  • Prepare all necessary backup research and information required for decision making and provide accurate advice as well ensuring all legal claims are settled amicably, and in line with Management’s discretion.
  • Draft, review, and edit key documents, reports, opinions, correspondence, memos, and other legal submissions.
  • Assists in developing organizational policies to meet legal requirements.
  • Prepare, draft and review all contracts & agreements with a view to achieve commercial objectives and protect the company against legal exposure through proper evaluation of risk.
  • Manage internal case reviews and investigations, to provide substantive assessment and favorable outcome.
  • Advice on compliance with all legislation and governmental requirements, and changes thereto, in order to protect the company interests.
  • Handle cases involving the company and prepare legal briefs and case papers in order to represent the company effectively in court.
  • Follow up on court directives and court orders regarding submission of documents or dates of appearance in court and ensure these are complied with punctually.
  • Communicate with Police, public prosecution, courts and other competent government authorities, as applicable.
  • Appear in court on behalf of the company AND prepare for court arguments in a pro-active manner seeking to counter the points that are likely to be made by the opposing party.
